Pop star, Davido, has reacted to the death of his uncle, Isiaka Adeleke, who was until his passing the senator representing Osun West at the National Assembly.
The politician died on Sunday and was buried on Monday in accordance with the Muslim traditions.
In an Instagram post on Monday, the multiple-award winning singer, born David Adeleke, said he was heartbroken.
He also prayed that the soul of his uncle, popularly known as Serubawon, rests in peace.
The late Adeleke was the first civilian governor of Osun State.
He was believed to be planning to contest in the state’s 2018 gubernatorial election before his demise.
Davido’s father, Deji Adeleke, is the deceased’s younger brother.
