Singer Davido has ordered a brand new G-Wagon for the mother of his son and soon-to-be wife Chioma Rowland ahead of their wedding in 2023.
Celebrity car dealer Renee Ogiozee made the announcement in an Instagram post on Tuesday where she also posted a screenshot of her conversation with the 29-year-old.
“Need G Wagon for Chi,” Davido texted.
“Hey David. Color? Nice. Congratulations in advance, love to hear it,” Renee responded.
Captioning the post, an excited Renee wrote: “Davido strikes again. Happiness is what we got on this side. Your celebrity car dealer is ready to deliver again.”
She also posted a video of a black G-Wagon with the caption: “It’s all good news from this side.”
Davido replied in the comment section with an emoji.
Davido confirmed he will be getting married to Chioma, also known as Chef Chi, in a video posted on Instagram on Friday last week by UK-based Nigerian Pastor Tobi Adegboyega.
In the video, Adegboyega hailed Chioma as “Our wife, our real wife,” and Davido added, “Hundred per cent, going down, 2023.”
The duo sparked reconciliation rumour after they were seen attending an event together. They also followed each other back on Instagram.
The lovers who were previously engaged to be married broke up over accusations of infidelity.
However, neither Davido nor Chioma made any statement regarding the state of their relationship at the time, despite many questions to that effect posed by their followers.
The lovebirds welcomed their son Ifeanyi in 2019.
