Singer Davido has promised to give 20 million naira to 20 entrepreneurs to support their business.
The 29-year-old announced this on Twitter on Wednesday.
“Country🇳🇬 hard right now sha … let’s give 20 m to 20 people on Friday … send in your business ideas or start-up ideas … more details shortly,” he tweeted.
In another tweet, he wrote: “Govt don fail us nah to dey help each other we dey now.”
Following his post, a controversial Twitter influencer Daniel Regha advised the singer to give the money to sick people, visit school and share on all his social media platforms instead of helping 20 people.
“Davido instead of gifting 20m to 20 people, visit hospitals, schools plus social media platforms (including ur comment sections) & use the money to foot the bills of those who urgently need financial assistance; Cos majority of people here will misuse the money if given to ’em,” Daniel tweeted.
“Mr Daniel if you have ur own 20’million Naira use it how you want and pls change ur dp that shit mad annoying,” Davido retorted.
This is coming four months after the singer gave 250 million naira raised for his birthday donation to charity.
