Singer Davido has reacted to music producer Napji’s claim that he has failed to pay royalties for his work.
Napji made the claim in a post on his X account on Tuesday in which said he produced three songs off Davido’s 2020 album A Better Time but was yet to receive royalties for the songs.
The music producer also promised release more details as he seeks to collect his royalties.
He wrote: “I am Napji, producer behind Fem, Jowo and Sunlight on @davido album (A better time).Which was released 13th November 2020.
“I was paid an advance of 500 thousand naira for each of the songs. I will be releasing more information as I seek to collect my royalties & publishing.”
Reacting in a post on X, Davido who retweeted the post simply wrote: “Your papa.”
