Pop star, Davido, has followed an Instagram fan, @peppylet, who threatened to commit suicide if he didn’t do so by her birthday on August 13.
The unstable fan, who says she is a make-up artiste and devotee of the young musician, made the threat in a two-part video posted on Thursday.
In the video, Davido’s ‘If’ plays in the background, while the fan ignores a baby lying on the bed next to her as she professes her love for the 24-year-old.
She ends her message with the threat to kill herself she does not meet her idol on or before her birthday.
To prevent the situation painted by American rapper, Eminem, in the song ‘Stan’, Davido quickly followed the fan whose real name is Chiamaka Okeke, writing “I don follow u o. No go die lol”.
Reacting, Okeke said Davido has made her 2017 and that she was very happy about that.
It is left to be seen if the pop star will send her a happy birthday message in August.
