Pop star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has remained silent on his 30th birthday.
Qed.ng’s check on the Instagram and Twitter accounts of the singer who lost his only son Ifeanyi Adeleke last month revealed that Davido did not make a post to celebrate his birthday.
The Aye star was however celebrated by his friends and family including his seven-year-old daughter Imade and cousin Sina Rambo.
A birthday message and photo of Davido holding on to his daughters while carrying Ifeanyi; an act of tribute to the deceased was uploaded on Imade’s Instagram account on Monday.
“Happy birthday daddy! I wish you peace, joy and love,” the photo caption read.
On his part, Sina uploaded photos of himself and his cousin on Instagram with a goodwill message.
He wrote: “Happy Birthday cuz! Dirty 30!! We love you @davido baddest.”
Days after his son’s death, Davido’s management announced the postponement of his AWAY festival from November 18, 2022, to November 18, 2023.
Ifeanyi drowned in a swimming pool on October 31 at the singer’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State, police have confirmed.
The boy had only celebrated his third birthday days before the tragic incident. His death has left his father and mum Chioma Rowland heartbroken and off social media.
