Pop star, Davido, on Sunday uploaded a picture of himself smoking marijuana on Instagram.
The 24-year-old singer took the picture after a performance in Dallas, Texas in USA.
As if he needed to justify his action, the singer who is currently on a tour across continents wrote “nobody holy” in full capital letters.
This is not the first time a photo of the singer smoking weed is appearing online.
A picture of him smoking went viral in February, two days after he attended a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) service in Lagos.
Meanwhile, the police have announced the detention of two policemen for reckless shooting in the company of Davido in Lagos.
Davido and his team had shared the Snapchat video of the policemen shooting while escorting them around town.
The incident occurred on July 31 along the Murtala Mohammed International Airport road in Lagos.
Head of Public Complaints Rapid Response Unit (PCRRU), ACP Abayomi Shogunle, said over the weekend: “On August 1, 2017, PCRRU was notified about a video in circulation on social media in which some men alleged to be policemen were seen shooting in the air on the street in a moving vehicle.”
Shogunle condemned the action of the two policemen who were 2attached to the 20 Police Mobile Force Squadron, and were attached to a private security company, Infinity Security Company.”
He added that “investigation has shown that they have no justifiable reason to have expended or fire their weapons into the air” and that “we are only waiting for the appropriate police authority to review the punishment then we will make the full details known to the public”.
