Singer Davido has thanked the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) for inviting him to perform at the awards ceremony on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old took to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, thanking the association and stating how music and sports go hand in hand.
“Thank you @PFA for the opportunity to not only attend such a prestigious event but also perform. Music and sports have always gone great together and we proved that again last night! ❤️⏳🌎,” he wrote.

Davido performed the songs ‘Unavailable’ and ‘Feel It’ from his new album Timeless at the event.
He is the first African artiste to perform at the PFA awards ceremony.
