Pop artiste Davido says he will be meeting with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu in Abuja on Monday.
The ‘Fem’ singer stated this in a tweet on Sunday, calling on his colleagues to be part of the meeting.
“I am meeting with the inspector general of police tomorrow 10 am. All my colleagues if u can get to Abuja 2moro before 10 am and follow me to the meeting ! It would mean a lot ❤,” he said.
Davido had joined the #EndPoliceBrutality protest held on Sunday in Abuja.
It was gathered that the singer’s presence was influential in keeping the protest non-violent.
Nigerians are now clamouring for reforms in the police following the scrapping of the notorious Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) which caused protests lasting days.
