Pop musician, Davido, has reacted to the news of a fresh charge of alleged certificate forgery brought against his uncle, Ademola Adeleke.
The 26-year-old singer posted a message to his uncle via Instagram on Tuesday.
“Stay strong Uncle D ! GOD IS GREAT AND HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS A SAY! @ademolaadeleke_01,” he wrote.
He also added that it was now a crime to win an election in Nigeria.
Senator Ademola Adeleke has been slammed with fresh charges of alleged certificate forgery by the police in Abuja.
Adeleke arrived at Mpape Magistrate Court, Abuja on Tuesday morning in a white bus.
The Osun West Senator was detained on Monday after he honoured an invitation at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Davido was heavily involved in the campaign to get his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, elected as Osun governor in September.
