Singer Davido paid a courtesy visit to the minister of interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the director-general and chief executive officer of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) Bisoye Coker-Odusote at their offices in Abuja.
Mr Tunji-Ojo shared photos of the courtesy visit on X on Friday.
The minister praised Davido for his talent, noting that Nigerians are proud of him.
“I welcomed renowned afrobeat artiste David Adeleke, widely recognized as @davido, yesterday.”
“Davido, through his music, has continued to exemplify Nigeria’s cultural richness and talent on the global stage, and we are proud of him,” he wrote.
Photos from Davido’s visit to Coker-Odusote were also shared on NIMC official X account on Friday.
