Davido’s fiancée, Chioma Rowland, showed off her dance skills at her bridal shower on Sunday, June 23 where she jumped in on the trending Tshwala Bam dance from South Africa.
Surrounded by friends, family and loved ones, Chef Chi, as she is affectionately called, did not disappoint during the dance challenge.
In one of the captivating videos shared online, Chioma is seen gracefully moving her waist in a pink ensemble—a pink crop top paired with pink trousers—while holding a flower and a glass of wine. Her joy was palpable as she danced and celebrated with her friends, who crowned her with a sash that read ‘bride to be.’
The surprise bridal shower was meticulously planned by Davido.
Narrating how her fiance caught her by surprise, Chioma said, “He was trying to get the exact location, and when he got outside, he asked somebody something. I was like, this is not a restaurant, and I want to eat. And then I stopped and looked and just started screaming.”
The joyous occasion saw Chioma’s friends and loved ones in attendance, celebrating her upcoming nuptials. The couple are set to tie the knot in a ceremony in Lagos on June 25.
Dubbed #Chivido2024, the wedding has been the talk of the town. In fact, media personality Do2dtun told Nigerian musicians on Monday, June 24 not to release new songs this week because every one will be talking about Davido’s wedding.
Known for his grand gestures, Davido spared no expense for his fiancée. He previously disclosed that the wedding ring he presented to Chioma is worth the price of two or three Rolls Royce cars.
