The first leg of the much hyped events to mark D’banj’s 10th anniversary on the music stage lived up to the usual Nigerian character. It started way behind schedule.
Guests who had paid a king’s ransom as entry fee were kept waiting for hours at the Civic Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos in anticipation of the Koko Master and Amber Rose, the American artiste, model and fashion designer who was host for the night.
The show which was billed to start at 7pm did not start until after 12 midnight.
Some of the celebrities spotted at the show include Kemi Adetiba, Oritsefemi, Toke Makinwa, Hauwa Mukan, Sharong Ojong, Lami Phillips, Shaydee and Toolz.
Rose arrived Nigeria on Saturday at about 6pm.
