As part of activities to his 10 year anniversary on the music scene, D’banj has launched a competition for aspiring rappers.
The competition which is based on the Koko Master’s song ‘The King is Here’ featuring rapper, Reminisce is an opportunity for up and comers to create a platform for themselves.
Winner will have opportunity to feature on the remix of the song and an appearance in the video.

Having won the MAMA 2015 Evolution Award, D’banj is recognised for his work in the African music industry.
The award which is given to established artistes who have made a huge impact on the African music scene, taken African music to new heights around the world and pushed the boundaries of creativity.
D’banj, born Dapo Oyebanjo, released his debut album No Long Thing in 2005 under the label Mo’ Hits Records created by him and estranged partner Don Jazzy. And 35-yer-old has not looked back since then.
