Singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj, has surprised lead pastor of Streams of Joy International, Jerry Eze on his 42nd birthday.
D’banj shared a video on his Instagram page on Thursday, capturing the moment.
He captioned the post, “Happy Birthday to my Papa, @realjerryeze. It was an honor to surprise you in Abuja today, and even on your special day, you still took out time to bless us.
“Your relentless faith and passion for God continue to inspire us all. May God’s grace and favor overflow in your life this new year. Thank you for being a blessing to so many.”
In the video, colourful balloons set a festive mood in the background as D’banj is seen shaking hands with Pastor Eze.
The singer expressed his wishes, saying, “I must greet you specially on this wonderful day. Happy birthday to you. May the grace on your life never run down.” The pastor in turn prayed for the singer.
The clergyman had earlier taken to Instagram to mark his birthday with a post expressing gratitude to God.
He wrote, “ANOTHER BIRTHDAY! Lord, thank you for helping me! Lord, thank you for showing me mercy! If there be any trophy, I lay it all at your feet. I LOVE YOU LORD!!!”
Several celebrities, including Mercy Johnson, Tonto Dikeh, Obi Cubana, Victoria Njamah, and Anita Joseph, also joined in celebrating Pastor Eze on his special day.
