Actor and skit maker Mr Macraoni has said that the late Deborah Samuel is yet to get justice and her killers are still roaming freely.
Mr Macaroni lamented in a post via X on Tuesday while reacting to a report about Rhoda Jatau, a Christian health worker who was reportedly detained since May 2022 on blasphemy charges, and has lost her legal bid to have the case against her thrown out.
Weighing in on the matter, the activist demanded the release of Rhoda and opined that she should not be detained while Deborah’s killers are yet to be brought to justice.
“I join my voice with millions of Nigerians to demand the release of Rhoda Jatau!!!! It is inhumane that Rhoda is being denied her freedom while Deborah is yet to get justice and her killers are roaming freely! #FreeRhodaJatau,” he wrote.

US honours Deborah Samuel lynched in Sokoto over alleged blasphemy
Deborah Samuel, a student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education Sokoto, was killed by irate Muslim students for alleged blasphemy in May 2022.
Mrs Jatau was arrested by the Department of State Security on May 20, 2022 after she shared a video that condemned the lynching of Deborah Samuel, a Christian college student in Sokoto accused of blasphemy against Islam and set ablaze in daylight on May 12, 2022 by a mob at Shehu Shagari College of Education.
Jatau’s defence team submitted their request for the case to be dropped at a hearing on October 16 attended by members of the press and human rights observers. Also present was Jatau’s husband, Ya’u Adamu, who has been raising their five children alone since his wife’s arrest.
On Monday, however, the court ruled that she must enter her defence.
