Celebrity media personality, Toke Makinwa, has dismissed threat by her estranged husband, Maje Ayida, to sue her over her tell-all book, On Becoming.
Lawyers representing the fitness and wellness specialist had written to Toke demanding that she stops further sale and distribution of the book.
They also requested that she retracts “defamatory” comments made about Maje and apologise publicly.
Failure to do so, they threatened, will result in a lawsuit.
Dismissing the threat, Toke went on Instagram on Friday with posts urging her followers to go buy the book.
She also posted a video of a promotional stop at a TV station in Ghana.
The 32-year-old arrived the West African country on Thursday for a book reading and signing scheduled for the next day.
Maje’s lawyer had accused her of being “relentless” and “limitless” in her quest for publicity.
