Activist, Deji Adeyanju, has leaked the audio version of a conversation he had with co-activist, Charly Boy, regarding allegations of collecting money from spokesperson of Buhari’s campaign organisation, Festus Keyamo.
The one minute, 27 seconds audio recording has Deji Adeyanju and Charly Boy arguing about an undisclosed sum of money allegedly given to Charly Boy.
In the leaked audio, Mr Adeyanju accuses Charly Boy of receiving payment to make a video supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC), noting that Mr Keyamo had been going around telling people that he gave Charly Boy money.
Responding in Pidgin English, Charly Boy says, “Ehnn, that thing them talk about Festus is a very big truth but it’s not like that.
“Festus came here after we dey talk about your problem, I said Festus: ‘Do you believe in what I am doing’, he said yes.”
When further pressed by Adeyanju that this was not how Keyamo narrated the meeting to others, Charly Boy says that he is not bothered because if he cared about people’s opinion he would not be where he was.
The rest of the audio sees both men going back and forth, Charly Boy tries to convince Deji Adeyanju not to leave.
Adeyanju replies him that he is an emotional person, adding that he wants just two things in his life, namely, happiness and the grace not to offend anybody so he would meet his maker in peace.
