Amaka Ekwo, spokesperson of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has requested an open apology from activist Deji Adeyanju.
Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, had revealed on Tuesday that Mr Adeyanju apologised to Mr Kanu for his criticisms and that Kanu had forgiven him.

But in response to Fani-Kayode’s tweet, Ms Ekwo said Adeyanju should apologise publicly.
“@realFFK in-law, @adeyanjudeji insulted @MaziNnamdiKanu in the open, it would be fair to see his apology in the open. Notwithstanding, Deji’s lawyers should file a lawsuit against those barbaric Almajiri thugs. #BokoHaram-to-be they are, barbarians!” she said.

Adeyanju was among members of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) who were attacked on Monday while protesting for the release of convener of RevolutionNow protests, Omoyele Sowore, and others.
Adeyanju and others were protesting peacefully at the headquarters of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) when they were attacked by suspected thugs.
