National president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) Bolaji Amusan has confirmed the death of fellow actor Kunle Adetokunbo, popularly known as Dejo Tunfulu.
Speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday, Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin said the 49-year-old died on Thursday night, three days after attending a party.
“Yes, we lost Dejo Tunfulu, I am so shocked because he still attended a party three days ago.
“May God grant him eternal rest, the association will communicate to the public further,” Mr Latin said.
Born on May 31, 1972 in Idumota, Lagos Island area of Lagos State, Dejo Tunfulu hailed from Abeokuta in Ogun State.
The comic actor, writer and producer appeared in movies like Hally The Drummer (2016) and Jide Jendo (2020).
