Nigeria’s chief celebrity journalist, Dele Momodu, has confirmed that all is now well with the family of David Adeleke, aka Davido.
Momodu’s niece, Sophia, has been engaged in a public spat with the pop star over the welfare of their daughter, Imade, for a while.
The messy feud, which reached a head when Davido was accused of trying to smuggle the child out of the country, has seen the Adelekes and Momodus fight dirty on social media.
But in a message he uploaded across social media platforms on Sunday, the Ovation publisher shared a picture of Sophia playing with Imade Adeleke along with the caption “All is well that ends well…” – William Shakespeare SOPHIA MOMODU with BABY IMADE ADELEKE last night at Grandpa DR DEJI ADELEKE’s home last night…”
The picture was obviously taken in the home of Davido’s mega rich father, Deji Adeleke, whom Momodu had earlier accused of using his influence to aid his granddaughter’s abduction.
Although recent reports suggested that the two families had signed a peace accord at the instance the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) to which Sophia had written a petition, Davido denied it in a Twitter post on Friday when he wrote, “Who signed what ?… all love, OSINACHI REMIX OUT TODAY!”.
Dele Momodu’s latest post, along with the picture of Sophia of Imade taken in Davido’s father’s house could mean an end to this episode of baby mama drama.
