Media mogul Dele Momodu has paid a visit to the family of the late Wale Bob-Oseni who died in 2021 following the collapse of a 21-storey building in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.
Momodu shared photos of his visit to the family on Instagram on Monday.
He said he met Bob-Oseni’s widow Adeola and children in high spirits.
“Yesterday, in Maryland, USA, I paid a visit to the family of my late Aburo, WALE BOB-OSENI of blessed memory. I was happy to meet his widow, ADEOLA, and the children, in high spirits. May Bob’s gentle soul continue to rest in peace,” said Momodu.
Bob-Oseni was on his way to the airport to board a plane to the United States when he reportedly got a call from the developer of the property Femi Osibona to stop by and see the high-rise building.
Both men and several others died in the rubble.
The US-based Bob-Oseni was the corporate affairs manager of First Premiere Mortgage, and executive director of African Bureau for Legislative Empowerment.
