Media mogul Dele Momodu has been decorated the Aare of Iwo kingdom in Iwo, Osun State by the Oluwo of Iwo Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi.
Mr Momodu’s wife Mobolaji was named Yeye Aare of Iwo Kingdom in an installation ceremony held on Saturday.
Guests at the impressive ceremony include media icon Bisi Olatilo, Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi, Princess Kemi Aderemi and the Alara of Ilara Kingdom Oba Olufolarin Ogunsanwo.
Also among the guests were Senator Ademola Adeleke and religious leader Sat Guru Maharaji.
In an Instagram post, Momodu said he was happy to see Maharaji for the first time in over three decades.
“I was happy to see him for the first time since I last interviewed him 31 years ago and very surprised he came to honor us,” he wrote.
