The legal battle over the custody of Imade Adeleke, daughter of pop star, Davido, and Sophia Momodu has taken a new turn.
Davido on Sunday, January 3, 2016, published a pathology report said to have been issued by Clina Lancet Laboratory in Lagos, which alleged that Sophia tested positive to cannabis.
Based on the report, the 23-year-old accused his now estranged lover of exposing their daughter to drug abuse.
Sophia, through her lawyers, S.O. Ajayi & Co, has now written to the laboratory, requesting to see the original of the drug test result.
The letter dated January 5, 2016 (see below) requested that the report be made available promptly “as the said Pathology Report was never given to her”.
Clina Lancet is also requested to provide detailed report on the process/procedure that the company adopted in carrying out the test.
The full blown baby mama drama started after Sophia Momodu, accused the ‘Aye’ singer of kidnapping their seven-month-old daughter.
Davido in turn accused his daughter’s mother of being irresponsible and trying to extort money from him.
Sophia and her uncle, media entrepreneur, Dele Momodu, have also accused Davido and his family of trying to use their wealth to take the baby away from her mother.
