Super Falcon Desire Oparanozie has signed for Division 1 Féminine side, Dijon FCO, following her departure from Guingamp.
The 26-year-old announced her new club on Tuesday via Twitter.
“Officially i am now a Dijonnais. I am very happy starting a new adventure with this club. The object is to help my new team attain greater heights. Come on Dijonnais💪🏾,” she wrote.
The former Super Falcons captain had in May parted ways with Guingamp following the expiration of her contract with the club.
The cancellation of the remaining matches in France due to the coronavirus pandemic brought an end to her six-year-long career with the French outfit.
Oparanozie joined Guingamp after a brief spell at Turkish women’s top-flight side Ataşehir Belediyespor in 2014.
The former Bayelsa Queens star scored more than 45 goals in 106 appearances for Guingamp.
