Nollywood actor and member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Desmond Elliot, is at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival in France to promote Lagos as a tourist destination.
The 44-year-old said he and others in the Lagos delegation have started doing that and will continue till the aim is achieved.
In a post to Instagram on Thursday, the actor filmed himself and fellow filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, at the Lagos pavilion in Cannes.
The Lagos State Government will on Friday unveil the second edition of the magazine, Cinema in Lagos, at the Cannes Film Festival holding in France.
It is the second consecutive year the magazine dedicated to the business of film and tourist attraction in Lagos will be presented to filmmakers, journalists and other film enthusiasts at the festival.
The unveiling will take place inside the Lagos State Pavilion, 2010 Pantenrio Section at the Festival Village by 4:00 pm.
