The constituency office of filmmaker and politician, Desmond Elliot, in Surulere, Lagos has been raided by thieves.
Desmond shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, giving praise to God that no life was lost.
“Thank God no life was lost; my commitment to my people is unmovable. I wonder what thieves would be doing in my constituency office. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper,” he wrote.
Desmond represents Surulere Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
He was elected to the House in 2015 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The 40-year-old actor was on the Lagos State delegation to the 71st Cannes Film Festival held in France in May.
