Actress Destiny Etiko has issued a pre-action notice demanding that fellow actress Queeneth Hilbert retract alleged defamatory statements made against her, while also seeking N100 million in damages.
Destiny shared the legal notice on her Instagram page on Saturday, insisting that Queeneth must retract her statements on all social media platforms.
According to the document, Queeneth had, on March 6, accused Destiny on Instagram of manipulating people for financial gain and having a romantic relationship with a man named Tony from Benin.
In a recent video on her Instagram page, Queeneth claimed, “It has come to my notice that you, Destiny, think it’s all about running around and unfollowing me. It all started on the set of Cubana Babes. Once she sees you have a close relationship with someone financially stable, she tries to snatch them.”
She also alleged that Destiny exaggerated financial transactions, saying, “They give you N200,000, and you increase it to N1 million.”
Destiny has denied all accusations, describing them as false and an attempt to damage her reputation.
