Actor Deyemi Okanlawon has shared his last conversation with the late Jumoke Aderounmi.
The father of three shared a screenshot of their WhatsApp chat on his Instagram account on Monday, saying that they will continue the conversation in a better place.
In the message dated November 23, Deyemi reached out to Jumoke to check on her and the latter responded by thanking him in a voice note she sent.
Speaking on her shocking death, he wrote: “Death brings everything into perspective often times helping us see how trivial some of the things we concern ourselves with are.
“Jumoke I am so Sorry, I thought we had all the time in the world and really should have just called. Goodbye my dear friend… we will continue the conversations in a better place!”
The duo played each other’s love interest in actress and media personality Lolo 1’s first feature film When Love is Not Enough.
Jumoke, aged 40, died on Saturday April 6. Her brother Adeola Aderounmu confirmed her demise in an Instagram story on Sunday.
A funeral service has since been held for the deceased at Owu Baptist Church, Totoro area of Abeokuta in Ogun State.
