Actor Kunle Remi has briefly talked about the fate of his character Saro in filmmaker Kunle Afolayan’s Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre.
Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre is a sequel to the movie Anikulapo released in 2022.
The trailer was released on Netflix’s official Instagram account on January 30, in which it was announced that the series will be released on March 1.
The one-minute clip shows a series of events surrounding the lead characters Arolake and Saro and the fate that awaits the latter after he is presumed dead.
On Friday, Netflix shared recaps of Anikulapo, detailing Saro’s journey in the first part of the film and the fate that awaits him.
Reacting in the comment section of the post on Instagram, Kunle Remi questioned whether Saro actually died or kept a portion of the magic powder for himself.
Did he ‘dead’? Or did he keep small power to resurrect himself, in case of incasities,” he wrote.
The series will feature Sola Sowobale, Kunle Remi. Bimbo Ademoye, Owobo Ogunde, Gabriel Afolayan, Lateef Adedimeji, Eyiyemi Afolayan, Uzee Usman, Jide Kosoko, Oyinda Sanni and Taiwo Hassan.
