Sean “Diddy” Combs has broken his silence on the death of his ex-girlfriend and mother of three of his kids.
Kim Porter, 47, was found dead in her home on Thursday after a brief illness.
Diddy in a series of posts to Instagram on Sunday talked about the immense love he felt for the former model, explaining how they were more than best friends.
“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates,” he began.
Promising to love her forever, the 49-year-old music executive promised to raise the family just as Porter taught him.

Porter was the mother of Diddy’s three children: son, Christian, 20, and twin daughters, D’Lila Star and Jesse James, who are 11 years old.
They dated on and off for 13 years from 1994 to 2007.
