Reality TV star Adeola Adeyemi, popularly known as Diiadem, has seemingly addressed her clash with Mariam Timmer, one of the housemates of The Real Housewives of Lagos.
Recall that in Season 3, Episode 11 of The Real Housewives of Lagos aired on Sunday, a significant altercation occurred between cast members Mariam and Diiadem during a pyjama party hosted by Diiadem.
The tension escalated when Mariam placed a call to fellow housewife Carolyna Hutchings during the event, despite Diiadem telling her not to.
During this call, Carolyna made a remark that offended Diiadem, prompting her to leave the room and label Mariam as “bad energy.”
After the call concluded, Diiadem returned to confront Mariam, accusing her of attempting to ruin the party. This confrontation led to a heated exchange, with both women hurling insults and nearly engaging in a physical altercation.
Diiadem, during the altercation, kept calling Mariam and Carolyna bullies. She could also be heard during the confrontation saying, “I am naturally too much.” This self-description was part of her response to the escalating tensions with Mariam, highlighting her self-perception and confidence during the dispute.
The episode concluded with the conflict unresolved, leaving viewers anticipating the fallout in subsequent episodes. This incident has sparked widespread discussion among fans and has been covered extensively in media outlets.
Now, in an update, Diiadem shared a picture of herself on her Instagram page on Wednesday with a lengthy note.
She wrote, “She is bold, fierce, and deeply human.
“She is self-aware, but that doesn’t mean she’s always calm. She feels everything deeply. Her softness is not a weakness; it’s a choice. But she knows her triggers, she knows when someone is pressing buttons, crossing lines, testing her patience, and when that happens, when she’s pushed too far, she blows hot!!!!
“Her fire isn’t chaos; it’s clarity. It’s the roar that comes after too much silence, the heat that rises when her boundaries are disrespected. She doesn’t just react; she responds with purpose. Every flame has a reason.
“They talk about her temper, but they don’t talk about the restraint. The countless times she’s chosen grace over fury. The moments she’s swallowed her truth for the sake of peace. But not anymore. Now, when her spirit is poked, she lets the fire rise.
“She doesn’t seek to be perfect. She seeks to be real. And in her realness, there is power. Power in knowing herself. Power in feeling everything. Power in not hiding the heat of her emotions.
“And just as her name implies DIIADEM; her crown stays luminous. If you can’t handle the shine, don’t come close. Watch from the sidelines.
“And oh! She’s naturally too much !!! ”
