Former Speaker of the House of Representatives Dimeji Bankole has welcomed a child with his wife Aisha Saidu daughter of the minister of budget and national planning and former governor of Kebbi State Atiku Bagudu.
The child was born in London, United Kingdom on October 6, 2023.
Bankole’s wife is a lawyer and graduate of the University of Hull, United Kingdom.

Bankole’s mother-in-law is the sister of the former Zamfara State governor Aliyu Shinkafi.
The birth of the child comes more than two years after their wedding in January 2021.
