Senator Dino Melaye has accused Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, of depriving permanent secretaries in the state of official cars.
The senator, who recently lost his mother, made this accusation in a tweet on Wednesday.
Melaye said that he was embarrassed to see permanent secretaries in Kogi going to work and back home on motorcycles.
He alleged that things were not like this during Idris Wada’s administration.
“It is so pathetic to see a permanent secretary in Kogi coming to work and going back on Okada. This is most unacceptable and it was not so in the previous administration in Kogi State. No official car for perm secs while thugs and masquerades drive jeeps courtesy Yahaya Bello,” the Kogi senator said.
