Senator Dino Melaye has composed a new song to criticise the army over the shooting of protesters at Lekki toll gate in Lagos on Tuesday night.
According to a video seen, men dressed in military uniform shot at #EndSARS protesters hours after the curfew went into effect.
However, in his new song posted on Twitter on Saturday, Melaye urged the army to tell Nigerians what happened at the toll gate.
“Na Army wey kill for Lekki,” he captiond his post.
The former Kogi lawmaker in his song also urged Nigerians not to support the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 general election.
The Defence Headquarters has denied that soldiers carried out the shooting in Lekki.
A judicial panel of inquiry set up by Lagos State Government to probe the incident will begin sitting on Monday.
