Senator Dino Melaye says he has donated a transformer to the people of Okoloke in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State.
In a tweet on Friday, the former federal lawmaker said the donation received by a traditional ruler makes it the fifth transformer to the local government this year.
“Jubilation in Okoloke, Yagba West LG as my coordinator Bayo Aro delivered a transformer to kabiyesi on my behalf. This makes this the 5th transformer to YW LG this year alone. To God be the glory,” said Melaye.
The controversial personality recently donated hand sanitisers and face masks among other items to the people of Kogi West whom he represented at the National Assembly between 2015 and 2019.
The items, he said, were to help in controlling the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
