Senator representing Kogi West at the National Assembly, Dino Melaye, appeared at the Senate on Tuesday in an academic.
Amused at the sight, some senators approached Melaye to exchange pleasantries with him.
The jejune drama comes a day after the Vice Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University, Prof Ibrahim Garba, confirmed that the politician graduated from the school with a third class bachelor of arts degree in geography in 2000.
Garba’s was summoned by the Senate in the wake of the allegation that Melaye didn’t graduate from the university.
The senator says he has eight degrees, including two from Harvard University and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
But Sahara Reporters reported how the two foreign schools debunked his claim.
