Spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Dino Melaye, has threatened to take legal action over allegation of a romantic relationship with Instagram influencers Amarachi Amusi, popularly known as Ashmusy, and Chinonso Ukah, better known as Nons Miraj.
The threat is directed at anonymous blogger Gistlover which posted pictures of the politician and the two influencers with the caption “I like fine fine pictures Sha. HARD WORK UNDER DINO NO BE SMALL WORK OO I DEY COME.”
Gistlover’s post came after OAP Nedu claimed in a podcast that he caught two female celebs and a man having a threesome at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
Nedu, however, said one of the women he saw is an ex-Big Brother Naija contestant.
Neither Ashmusy nor Nons has appeared on the reality TV show.
Reacting to Gistlover’s speculation in a post on Instagram on Tuesday, January 17, Melaye said he does not know any of the two women linked to him.
Blaming the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the allegation, the 49-year-old threatened legal action if the blogger refuses to apologise.
He wrote: “I will sue you this time. Will locate you. I don’t know any of these ladies. Agent of APC. You will not get away with your lies and unfounded story this time. You just dialed the wrong number. Apologize within 24 hours or face the consequences.”
The two influencers have also denied having any kind of relationship with Melaye.
This is not the first time Melaye will debunk reports about affairs with female celebrities.
He has been linked to actresses Iyabo Ojo, Biodun Okeowo and Bisi Ibidapo-Obe in the past.
