Disc jockey Florence Otedola, widely known as DJ Cuppy, has announced the death of her maternal grandmother Cecilia Attah.
The billionaire heiress announced her grandmother’s passing through a heartfelt message on her X account on Tuesday.
DJ Cuppy, whose mum is named Nana, said she takes solace in the belief that her grandmother is now “in heaven.”
She wrote, “My mummy’s mother has passed away. I’m finding comfort knowing she’s in heaven, looking down on us with love. What a life she lived!”
In her message, the social media influencer reflected on her grandmother’s influence, saying, “I’m so grateful for the way she shaped my mum, who then shaped me.”
“I’m praying for my very own during this sudden season of change, but we already know that our God is good all the time. Grandma Kaduna, your spirit lives on, guiding and comforting us. #RIP,” she added.
Additionally, DJ Cuppy took to her Instagram Story to share pictures and a video of herself and her grandmother, celebrating the moments they had together.
The disc jockey rarely spoke about her maternal grandmother nor shared photos of her on social media while she was alive.
