Disc jockey and billionaire heiress Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has shared a message she received from a suitor who expressed interest in dating her despite not being financially stable.
Taking to Snapchat, the 31-year-old posted the admirer’s message, in which he openly admitted his financial struggles but promised to treat her like royalty.
“I’m not financially stable, but I’d love to get your boyfriend and treat you like the sweet and wonderful Queen you are. Please think about it. I love you,” the admirer wrote.
Reacting to the message, Cuppy appreciated the gesture but offered a witty response that reflected her reality.
“Awww, the thought definitely counts, but unfortunately, so do bills,” she replied.
Cuppy, who is the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, has been open about her love life on social media.
On Valentine’s Day this year, she shared a photo of herself in a black robe and wrote that she was manifesting it would be her last Valentine’s Day as a single woman.
The DJ got engaged to British boxer Ryan Taylor in November 2022, just one month after meeting him. However, the engagement ended in 2023 for undisclosed reasons.
Since then, Cuppy has often joked about her single status online.
In November 2023, she revealed that she once listed “Jesus” as her emergency contact due to her lack of a significant other. In another post, she questioned God after receiving a romantic proposal via email.
