On-Air Personality (OAP) Do2dtun has called out Soundcity radio station over claims that staff have not been paid for eight months.

The Cool FM presenter in a series of posts shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, expressed concern for his colleagues at the station while criticizing its management for allegedly neglecting financial responsibilities to employees.

“My friends and colleagues at Soundcity, how do you guys cope? No salary for 8 months? Mehn, that is crazy,” Do2dtun wrote.

“It’s not by force to open a radio station. Owing your staff for 8 months is very cruel and inhumane.”

The broadcaster’s comments have sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many users on X debating the poor labour practices often associated with the media industry.

Some users shared similar experiences of delayed or unpaid salaries in media organizations, further fueling the conversation about the treatment of workers in the sector.

Others expressed shock, questioning how staff at the station could endure such conditions.

As of the time of this report, Soundcity has not responded to the allegations.
