Dolapo Osinbajo, wife of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, on Friday turned 55 and was surrounded by family, friends and well-wishers in a low-key ceremony.
A commemorative service was held in her honour at Aguda House in Aso Villa where prayers were said for the posterity and peace of the 36 states and the FCT, according to Osinbajo’s spokesman Laolu Akande.
Mrs Osinbajo, who is very passionate about family, shared a video on Instagram of happy moments with her family to mark her birthday.
“I thank God for His grace for 55 years,” she said.
Vice President Osinbajo in a late Friday night social media post prayed for wisdom, strength, joy and favour on his wife.
Mrs Osinbajo had put up an encouraging post on social media after her husband failed to clinch the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in June.
Hours before his wife’s birthday, Osinbajo disowned an error-laden memo which stated he wanted to resign from the APC.
