Nigerians have begun berating the Muhammadu Buhari administration over high inflation in the country caused by the rising rate of the American dollar.
The citizenry reacted with shock on Wednesday when the dollar hit N710 in the black market.
A dollar was about N150 during the Goodluck Jonathan administration. At the time, the former Emir of Kano Lamido Sanusi was the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Jonathan however removed Sanusi from office in 2014 after a series of public investigations and raising the alarm on the $20 billion NNPC scandal.
Nigerians on Thursday took to Twitter to say the Buhari administration makes them miss the Jonathan era when the dollar was relatively low.
