Actress Nkiru Sylvanus has reacted to the death of gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu, saying that the reports of domestic violence made her more popular in death.
The Cry For Help actress said this in an Instagram post on Friday as she mourned the ‘Ekwueme’ singer.
Nkiru Sylvanus added that she now understands why Osinachi was always sad even when she smiled. The actress preached against domestic abuse, saying that although death is a necessary end, life is also worth enjoying.
“Now I understand why her face was always sad even when she smiled. I don’t want to go over the stories that have been told. All I want to say is no form of Abuse is worth enduring.
“Don’t be silent, speak out. Death is a necessary end, but while we still have life, it is also worth enjoying. It is painful how domestic violence made Osinachi more popular in death! May it never be our portion. Amen,” Nkiru wrote.
Osinachi, aged 42, was a singer at the Dunamis International Headquarters, Abuja. She died last Friday at the National Hospital in Abuja.
