The cast of the 1996 hit film, Domitila, Kate Henshaw, Sandra Achums and Ann Njamanze have paid tributes to their co-star, the late Ada Ameh.
The death of Ada Ameh was announced on Monday. It was reported that she died on Sunday night in Delta State.
Shortly after the announcement, Kate Henshaw and others took to Instagram to mourn the deceased.
In her tribute, Kate Henshaw wrote: “Abide with me fast falls the even tide The darkness deepens Lord with me abide When other help has failed and comforts flee.. Help of the helpless O abide with me…. Goodnight Ada…We will meet on the other side.”
Sandra Achums wrote: “Words can’t express saddened I was when I heard you passed on. May your beautiful soul rest in peace.”
“God…I cannot find the words! Can I ask you? Babe! Abeg pick ny call. You cannot say goodnight now . NOT NOW! MY GOD,PLEASE,” Ann Njamanze wrote.
Domitila tells the story of young girls who went into prostitution to survive.
