Music mogul, Don Jazzy, has tipped Nigerian artistes to win a Grammy award for their collaboration with Beyoncé on her curated Lion King album.
The 36-year-old music executive said this in a tweet on Friday.
“It’s safe to say Our people are finally getting that Grammy hehe. Cos beyonce go Dey world category this time around haha. And once the album wins world album of the year. Gbas gbos 💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿,” he wrote.
Beyoncé released her Lion King album featuring Nigerian singers, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy and Yemi Alade.
The album titled, The Lion King: The Gift, dropped in the early hours of Friday.
Wizkid is featured on a song titled, ‘Brown Skin Girl,’ alongside Beyonce, her first child, Blue Ivy Carter and Saint Jhn.
Beyoncé was involved in the 2019 remake of “The Lion King” where she voiced adult Nala, the partner of Simba in the iconic flick.
Singers, Yemi Alade and Mr Eazi, are other Nigerians who contributed to the project, as well as Ghanaian artiste, Shatta Wale.
