The award ceremony was initiated by Titi Aboyade Cole to honour individuals who have excelled in their various fields of endeavour.
According to the organisers, this year’s event is a triple celebration. It will feature the usual Recognition Awards, dinner/dance for charity and also the 40th anniversary of the founder’s father, Late Babatunde Olatunde Aboyade Cole.
Speaking on the 2015 award, Aboyade Cole said, “we are glad to be back, bigger and better. This time, the ceremony will hold in London. Our first Podium ambassador will be unveiled this year, our youth ambassador, Adedoyin Ashiru, will be handing over to a successor and there’s a lot more side attractions.
“Our regular sponsors, Brila Energy, Settle Systems, Etal Hotels and Phoenix 17 properties are also on board this year as we will give out the first ever BOA award at this year’s event.”
Other recipients of this year’s award include female talking drummer Ara, Dayo Olomu, Dayo Israel and Bishop Adejube from Atlanta.
