Friends and relatives of a former presidential media aide Reno Omokri joined him in Kenya to celebrate his 50th birthday on Monday.
Among them were former governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke; Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, British actor, Wale Ojo; and gospel musician, Panam Percy Paul.
On Tuesday, Mr Omokri shared on Instagram a photo of the aforementioned and others posing for the camera with him as he cut his birthday cake.
“My immediate and extended family cutting one of my fiftieth birthday cakes in Kenya, along with my friends, including former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, British actor, Wale Ojo, gospel music star, Panam Percy Paul, and HRH King Stephen Jeremiah Tobins, Akee X (JP) Nwamoema of Bukuma, Rivers State,” he wrote.

At the party held at Ambroseli National Park in Kenya, Omokri was honoured with a key to the City of Blanco, Texas, United States by the mayor of Blanco, Mike Arnold.
According to the mayor, Omokri received the honour for his contributions to humanitarian causes and the advancement of human knowledge.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Arnold said, “In recognition of your notable contributions to humanity and making the world a better place, it is my profound honour to give you a key to the City of Blanco as the Mayor of the city. Youth have friends in Texas.”
On Sunday, President Bola Tinubu felicitated Omokri ahead of his 50th birthday.
