Leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Pastor Evelyn Joshua has urged former senior members of the church Prophetesses Yinka and Anne to continue in the steps of their mentor Prophet TB Joshua.
Yinka and Anne left the church after Joshua died on June 5, 2021, to begin their ministries.
Evelyn’s message to them was contained in a letter dated April 4, 2022, stemming from the information the women gave her about the launch of their ministries.
Evelyn said: “In blessing you with all of heavenly blessings, I urge you to keep true to the life and teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ as exemplified by Senior Prophet TB Joshua and the principles of true Christian worship which was the only foundation upon which your years of tutelage in The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) was based.”
The SCOAN leader said she was delighted to hear that Yinka and Anne were launching fully into ministry, adding that the harvest is plenty but labourers are few.
“I am delighted to read from you and to hear that you are embarking on the assignment of faith, expanding the Kingdom of God as we were all called and commissioned to do as believers,” she wrote.
One of the scriptures she highlighted in the letter was Mark 16:15 which says, “And he (that is Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
Since Yinka and Anne left the Lagos-based megachurch, they have continued to identify with it and to speak well of their mentor. They celebrated with SCOAN when Emmanuel TV, the cable channel of the church, clocked 16 years in March.
