British-Nigerian actor, John Boyega, has said that he was not aware of his bodyguard allegedly manhandling media girl, Toke Makinwa, when he visited Nigeria in December 2017.
In fact, he said he does not know who the on-air personality (OAP) is.
The Hollywood actor, who is currently in Nigeria, was a guest at Cool FM, where he answered questions from Daddy Freeze and Kaylah Oniwo.
In January, Toke took to her to her Instagram page to give a detailed account of what she referred to a physical assault on her by Boyega’s bodyguard, at the Crossroads Restaurant, situated within the premises of Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria, Island, Lagos.
According to her, she felt that if she was a guy, she wouldn’t have been treated in such manner.
Toke further narrated how she was not only embarrassed but also prevented from being served in the restaurant until the celebrated actor came in and gave the management the go-ahead.
The 33-year-old said she felt highly disrespected.
Boyega, 26, is known for playing Finn in the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the seventh film of the Star Wars series, and its 2017 sequel Star Wars.
